About the Project

Aaron’s Estate Sales needed a new website that would showcase their services and provide a seamless user experience. The client wanted a website that was modern, visually appealing and optimized for search engines and mobile devices. Additionally, they wanted the website to have specific features, such as sale event listings with map support, the ability to detect visitor locations to show sales nearby, and filter and search functionality to help customers find sales events based on specific criteria.

Prototyping

We created wireframes for the website, which served as a visual representation of the website’s layout and functionality. These wireframes enabled us to experiment with various design concepts and make quick changes based on feedback from the client.

Development

In the development phase, we converted the approved design into a functional website. We used modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, to create a website that was optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO). We implemented a sale event listing with map support, visitor location detection, and filter and search functionality. We also set up a WordPress backend to allow for easy management of sales events and implemented an e-commerce subscription system and a membership system. We allowed customers to register for a sale event with 1 click and to log in with social media, specifically Facebook and Google.

Outcome

The new website for Aaron’s Estate Sales has been a success. The website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines and mobile. The website features a sale event listing with map support, visitor location detection, and filter and search functionality, which have helped the client streamline their process for customers seeking estate liquidation services.
